The Bannockburn School District 106 Board of Education unanimously voted Oct. 21, 2025 to appoint Board Member Kostas Metropulos as the Board Secretary following the resignation of Kassandra Hayes. Steven Levine moved and Brian Kueber seconded the motion “that the Board appoint Kostas Metropulos as the new Board Secretary due to the resignation of Kassandra Hayes from the Board.”
Board President Allison Bowman presided over the vote. The motion carried with Allison Bowman, Steven Levine, Brian Kueber, Kostas Metropulos and Amy Copeland recorded as voting Aye; Board Member David Kotowsky was absent. The minutes do not specify an effective start date beyond the approval recorded in the meeting minutes.
Superintendent Scott Herrmann and other administrators were present but the minutes record no further discussion or amendment to the appointment.
