The Measure G Oversight Committee re-elected Chair Sandoval to a one-year term and voted to make Committee Member Field the committee’s vice chair during its July 30 meeting. The nominations were made from the floor, seconded, and approved by unanimous roll-call votes.
Selena Andrews, the city’s finance director, introduced the item and reminded the committee that the bylaws require a minimum of four votes and limit elected service to two consecutive terms. Chair Sandoval then nominated Field for vice chair; that motion was seconded by Committee Member Salmina and carried on a roll-call vote. No members recorded a dissenting vote.
The committee took no additional formal action in this item beyond the leadership elections. The votes were procedural and set the body’s leadership for the coming year; the committee moved on to its review of the fiscal year 2024–25 independent audit report after the election.
