The Board of Education for School District No. 95 met Oct. 9 at S.E. Gross Middle School and approved the consent agenda, including payroll and ratifications totaling $1,681,575.87. Mrs. Loerop moved to approve the consent agenda “as presented,” and Mrs. Schreiber seconded; the minutes record the vote as Jordan, Reingruber, Camacho, Loerop, Novak and Schreiber voting aye, with no nays. Member Mulcrone was absent.
Earlier in the meeting, Mrs. Reingruber moved that the board enter closed session to discuss appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance or dismissal of specific employees and probable or pending litigation; Mrs. Loerop seconded, and the motion carried on the same unanimous tally. The board did not disclose additional actions taken in closed session in the public minutes.
