At the May 9 organizational meeting the Darien District #61 Board of Education completed nominations and roll-call elections for two-year officer terms.
Karen Buckels was nominated and elected president; the roll call recorded ayes from Mrs. Pavlu, Mr. Myers, Dr. Ramos, Mrs. Ceferin, Mrs. Renell and Mrs. Fujiura with Mrs. Buckels recorded as abstaining. Allyson Renell was nominated and elected vice-president (ayes recorded; Renell abstained). Travis Myers was nominated and elected secretary with one recorded abstention by Mr. Myers on the roll call.
