Board accepts three resignations, approves hires and medical leave
Summary
Carlinville CUSD 1 accepted resignations from two district staff and a coach, approved two CMS cheer coaches for 2026-27 pending paperwork, and approved a paid medical leave for an employee not to exceed contracted days.
The board accepted resignations from Ashley Costello (CMS/CHS lead cook), Sarah Herrmann (District Tech Assistant) and John White (CMS golf coach) during the April 13 meeting.
President Kathy Norris asked for a motion to accept the resignations; Seth Roberts moved and the motion carried by voice vote. The board also approved employment pending paperwork for Laura Rosentreter and Carly Brown as CMS cheer coaches for the 2026-2027 school year; the motion passed by roll-call vote 6-0 with Brandon Little absent. The board approved paid medical leave for employee Kris Eldridge not to exceed contracted days; that motion also passed by roll-call vote.
These personnel actions will be processed by the district following completion of required paperwork and leave documentation.
