Illini Central board accepts resignations, approves retirements, leaves and hires

Following a brief closed session on Aug. 21 the board approved several personnel actions. The board accepted the resignation of activities staff Darcy Toland (high school cross country coach) and certified staff Brian Shawgo (industrial arts teacher). It also accepted the retirement notice of grade-school teacher Sue Brummell, effective at the conclusion of the 2028–2029 school year, and approved a leave request for certified staff Jenna Realmo from Feb. 2, 2026 through the end of the 2025–2026 school year.
The board approved employment of activities staff Christian Skaggs (high school cross country coach), Darcy Toland (middle school cross country coach), Vicki Bradshaw (6th grade girls basketball coach), Madison Skelton (6th grade volleyball coach), and volunteer coach Kyndel Arthalony. The board also approved certified hires Holly Snyder (middle & high school special education teacher) and Hayley Cline (part-time speech language pathologist). Minutes record all personnel motions as carried 7–0.
