Recording Secretary Denischia Cooper recorded roll call: board members Dean Barnett, Ivory Myles, Frances Pollard and Heldia Richardson were present; Taneshia Armstrong, Kimberly Chalmers and LaKeya Webb were absent. District leaders in attendance included Dr. Cynthia Levy, superintendent; Dr. Angle Diggs, director of special services; Dr. Antoinette Gray, director of teaching and learning; Shemeka Fountain, director of human resources; Justin Whitten, director of business services; and Joe Sierra, director of buildings and grounds. Principals and assistant principals from Barack Obama Learning Academy and Jesse C. White Learning Academy also attended but did not speak.
The board opened the hearing for public questions and comment, but none were offered. The minutes record the entry: "No Public Comment." With no discussion recorded on the proposed calendar, Board Member Ivory Myles moved to adjourn the public hearing; the motion was seconded by members in attendance.
