The Board of Education of the Georgetown‑Ridge Farm Community Unit District #4 public hearing was called to order at 6:07 p.m. April 9, 2026, by President Lori Starwalt at the Superintendent’s Office, 502 Mulberry Street, Georgetown. Roll call recorded Heather Roberts, Betsy Daily, Lori Starwalt, Greg Emmert, Eric Flessner and Dennis Smith present; Mark Learnard was absent. The record states that a quorum was present.
At 6:19 p.m. the board voted, on a motion by Eric Flessner with a second from Greg Emmert, to adjourn to a closed meeting. The board returned to open session at 7:35 p.m. on a motion moved by Greg Emmert and seconded by Dennis Smith. Shortly thereafter the board took formal action in open session to adopt a resolution authorizing the honorable dismissal of full‑time educational support personnel. The meeting was adjourned at 7:37 p.m. The minutes list Darla Attutis as recording secretary and include signature lines for the president and secretary.
