Cicero SD 99 board approves transfer, two terminations and two student expulsions

After convening in Executive Session Jan. 14, the Cicero School District 99 Board approved personnel actions in open session, including a Transfer/Reassignment Agreement (waiver and general release) with Veronica Moreno‑Chavez and terminations of Employee Monica Baeza and Employee Jose Alvarez. Roll calls for these items were recorded as carried.
Later in the meeting the Board approved the Personnel Report (including new hires and resignations) and authorized two student discipline dispositions: Student No. 990027527 and Student No. 990029437 shall each be expelled for the remainder of the 2025‑26 school year, with the expulsions held in abeyance pending successful completion of an alternative school program.
