The Dupo Community Unit School District #196 Board of Education voted unanimously Sept. 30 to approve the FY26 Tentative Budget. "A motion to approve the FY26 Tentative Budget was made by Member Agnew-Bennett and seconded by Member Stumpf," the meeting record states.
Superintendent White had reviewed district fund balances and the current financial outlook before the vote, providing the board context for the tentative budget. The board approved the measure with Ayes from Members Agnew-Bennett, Carroll, DeClue, Miller, Mushaney, Stoll and Stumpf and no Nays recorded.
The board approved the budget as tentative; next steps customarily include final adoption after required public notices and further review. The district did not provide a dollar total for the FY26 tentative budget in the meeting record.
