Cicero SD 99 CFO: state owes $6.73 million; property tax receipts expected next month

Rita Tarullo, Executive Director of Business Affairs/CFO for Cicero School District 99, briefed the Board on revenues and expenditures and reported that as of Dec. 23, 2025 the State owed the district $6,734,696.00.
Tarullo said the district expects an additional roughly $6.8 million in revenue next month from property tax receipts. The monthly Treasurer’s report accompanied other routine financial documents placed in Board members’ packets.
The board did not ask follow‑up questions about cash‑flow contingency at the meeting. Tarullo’s report came as the administration also discussed a proposed bond advisory agreement with PMA Securities and related bond counsel recommendations on the consent agenda.
