The board approved extending the IHSA girls' soccer cooperative with Northwestern for another two years. Dr. Schuchman explained the partnership has been in place for two years and that combining the teams "has not changed our IHSA competition classes." Board member Maya Reid moved the motion; Kyle Bradley seconded. The voice vote was unanimous among members present.
School officials said the extension keeps opportunities available for girls’ soccer without altering the district’s classification. The cooperative was presented as a continuation rather than a new agreement requiring reclassification.
