Chair Sharon Alto said the rubric will be provided to applicants and used during in-person presentations so commissioners can produce consistent evaluations: "Bring your a game peeps," Alto said, urging applicants to tailor their presentations to the rubric's criteria.
Commissioners agreed on presentation logistics: applicants will have 10 minutes to present and five minutes for commissioner questions. Staff will include the rubric in invitation letters to applicants and warn that incomplete applications will not be considered; commissioners discussed using the rubric to reduce overlap and to compare previous scores with current presentations.
