Komarek SD 94 schedules IAR testing March 17–26; staff appreciation planned
Summary
The district will administer the Illinois Assessment of Readiness: math on March 17–19 and ELA on March 24–26 for grades 3–8; student council hosted an IAR spirit week and administration will provide staff lunch March 18.
Board member Willie Merrill outlined the district's schedule for the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR).
Merrill said Komarek students will take the mathematics portion of the IAR on March 17, 18 and 19 and the English Language Arts portion on March 24, 25 and 26. He said student council hosted an IAR spirit week the week of March 9–13 to support students and that the administration will provide staff lunch on Wednesday, March 18 to thank teachers for preparation efforts.
Principal Diane Michelini reiterated the testing schedule and reminded the community that Spring Break runs March 30–April 3, with an extra day off April 6 and no student attendance April 10 for a teacher institute day.
