Komarek School schedules open house, institute days and first-day plans for Aug.–Sept. 2025

Principal Diane Michelini updated the Komarek SD 94 Board on back-to-school logistics at the Aug. 12 meeting. She said the Wildcat Newsletter has been issued and that teachers will attend orientation on Aug. 14; institute days for all staff are scheduled for Aug. 18–19. Open house for families is set for Aug. 18 from 6:00–7:30 p.m., and the first day of school is Aug. 20, when kindergarten students will attend a half-day.
Other calendar items included picture day on Sept. 11 and two late-start Thursdays on Sept. 11 and Sept. 25. "We are ready and excited to welcome students and staff next week," Principal Michelini said. The board agreed to provide staff dinner before the open house on Aug. 18.
