At the Feb. 17 meeting Lindop SD 92’s finance update flagged timing issues with tax receipts and a delayed audit.
"Ms. Gutierrea reported Lindop has received 87% of tax receipts and next tax bills and receipts will be about one month late," the minutes state. Staff attributed the delayed audit to red-flag issues from prior‑year practices and noted the consumer price index (CPI) of 2.7 percent will factor into the district’s levy calculation. Lindop was selected for an IMRF compliance review and LTA negotiations are scheduled to begin in April.
Board committee schedules and next meeting dates were announced; staff said they will continue monitoring receipts and provide updates at the next finance committee meeting.
