At its Jan. 20 meeting the Lindop School District 92 board unanimously approved a Working Cash Fund Abatement Resolution totaling $850,000 and separately approved a 2025 Property Tax Relief Grant Abatement resolution.
Mr. Myrick moved to approve the $850,000 working-cash abatement; Ms. Griffin seconded. Later, President Patterson moved and Ms. Johnson seconded the property-tax relief abatement resolution. Both motions passed with all board members voting yes.
Why it matters: abatement resolutions move district funds and grant authority for specific budgetary actions; the working-cash abatement in particular affects the district’s cash-flow planning for the coming fiscal period.
Next steps: district finance staff will implement the approved abatements as part of the FY budgeting and reporting cycle and report outcomes to the Finance Committee.
