Lincolnwood board adopts 2025 property tax levy, directs Truth in Taxation filing

The Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education voted unanimously Dec. 4 to adopt its 2025 property tax levy. Secretary John P. Vranas moved the resolution to adopt the levy and Member Jay Oleniczak seconded; President Peter D. Theodore recorded the unanimous vote.
The board also directed Business Manager/CSBO Courtney L. Whited to file the Truth in Taxation Certificate of Compliance and all other required documentation before the last Tuesday in December. The adoption followed a brief public hearing on the levy during which no members of the public commented. The finance materials and final levy were reviewed by the Finance Committee in advance.
