D105 awards three-year contracts for snow removal and landscaping to Diaz Group LLC
Summary

The La Grange Elementary School District 105 Board voted Oct. 27 to award two multi-year service contracts to Diaz Group LLC.
For snow removal and salting, the board approved a three-year contract covering FY26 through FY28 after the district solicited bids and received one official proposal; the vendor's bid reflected a 3.4% increase over the prior contract, a change the district attributed to last year's CPI. The recommendation was to approve the bid and continue with the incumbent vendor.
Separately, the board approved a three-year landscaping and grounds-maintenance contract (2026'2028) to Diaz Group. The district said the new landscaping contract will cost less than the previous contract. Both motions passed on roll call with unanimous support.
Board members noted the competitive process (public posting beginning Oct. 1 and a bid opening on Oct. 20, 2025); only one bid was received for each solicitation.
