Superintendent Dr. Todd Fitzgerald and building leaders outlined the district's strategic priorities for 2025-26 at the Sept. 16 meeting. Goals include professional development related to differentiated teaching strategies in partnership with the West40 Regional Office of Education; creation of an annual curriculum review process; and expanded use of technology and staff training on artificial intelligence.
Student-needs goals emphasize refining the district's MTSS process to support social-emotional learning and behavior, meeting the needs of English language learners, and exploring extracurricular and outside-the-classroom learning opportunities (for example, the recently reconstituted dance team). The plan also prioritizes safety measures and partnerships with local emergency services, and administrators said staff-submitted goals align with the overall strategic plan.
