The La Grange Elementary School District 105 Board of Education unanimously accepted the district's fiscal year 2025 financial and single-audit reports after auditors reported no findings.
Ivan Felty of Evans, Marshall, & Pease, P.C., summarized the audit and told the board that D105 "received unmodified or clean opinions on both audits. This represents the highest level of assurance possible." He added that the audit identified no findings, deficiencies, or material weaknesses, a result he said reflects positively on the district's financial-management practices and internal controls.
Board President Bryan White moved to accept the audit reports; the motion was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote with all seven members voting aye. The accepted audits will be filed with the superintendent's office as a public record of revenues and expenditures for fiscal year 2025.
The acceptance concludes the auditor's review for the year ending June 2025; no further action was recorded at the meeting regarding audit follow-up.
