At its Oct. 15 meeting, the Jacksonville School District #117 Board approved a consent agenda that bundled routine financial and administrative items. Among those were three resolutions abating taxes previously levied for the payment of debt service on the district’s General Obligation School Bonds (Series 2017; Taxable Series 2021A and Series 2021B; Series 2025). The consent agenda was moved by Mrs. Wilson, seconded by Mr. Lonergan, and carried unanimously.
Other consent items approved included authorization to sell or scrap a 2003 Chevrolet Venture (the district’s old mail van), payment to Graham and Hyde for professional services through Sept. 30, 2025 related to the new Murrayville-Woodson school, and approval of a DECA student trip planned for April 2026. The board’s roll-call vote listed all seven members in the affirmative.
