Superintendent Craig Benes presented the board with highlights from the district office including Benson drop-off concerns, a district safety week, updates on district enrollment, the annual budget and tax-levy work, and a new Civic & Safety Student Merit program. Benes noted several school and department teams are meeting as part of ongoing operations.
The Business Manager provided August fund-balance, revenue/expenditure variance and cash/investment reports and an audited financial update; the audit presentation was postponed to November. The Technology report included rollout of multi-factor authentication for the student-management system and a Windows 11 upgrade.
