A motion to approve Action Memorandum FY26-#08 (Approval of the Fiscal 2026 Final Budget) passed with all seven board members recorded as voting in favor (Barthel, O'Neill, Giambrone, Patel, Amayun, Diestel, Shannon).
Dr. Dave Bein, the Business Manager, presented the budget overview during the public hearing and board discussion, detailing “legal requirements for budget adoption, overview of FY26 revenues and expenditures, operating budget summary, investment reconciliation, Arbitrage payment, [and] audit,” and invited questions from board members before the vote. The board completed the required public hearing process for the budget prior to taking action. The motion was made and seconded as recorded in the minutes; the vote tally was seven yes, zero no, zero abstain.
