Board approves non-renewal of two probationary teachers and accepts multiple resignations

The board also approved a package of personnel resignations effective at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year. Those accepted include Alyssa Gulo (Giles assistant principal); Semina Adzic (Giles math teacher); Cameron Davis (district bilingual Spanish teacher); Duc Do (Giles special education co-teacher); Donna Ferraro (Leigh social worker); Lilianna Gomez (Leigh special education teacher); Tim Larkin (Leigh social worker); Tetiana Makhnovets (Giles bilingual Ukrainian teacher); Natalie Piraino (Giles math teacher); and Gino Gapastione (coaching assignments). The personnel motion was moved by Mrs. Theodore, seconded by Mrs. McPhillips, and passed unanimously.
