Board hears recommended 2026–27 student fee schedule; early childhood fee contingent on PFA grant

Assistant Superintendent for Business Services Jeremy Davis presented recommended student fees for the 2026–27 school year. The administration proposed keeping most fees unchanged, with the following rates: Registration Fee $195 (K–8); Transportation Fee $495; Milk Fee $70. Davis noted an Early Childhood fee of $4,000 would only be assessed if North Shore SD 112 does not receive the Preschool For All (PFA) Grant; if the district receives PFA, the early childhood fee would remain $0.
District staff said the Finance Committee reviewed the proposals on Dec. 9. The Board will be asked to adopt the fee schedule at the Jan. 20, 2026 regular meeting.
