During discussion of the district facility plan, the board asked Superintendent Guzik to prepare a list of items that may qualify for Life Safety Funds and to identify items that would not qualify, for presentation at the April meeting.
Board member Mr. Berardi questioned the district's financial capacity to absorb the costs of facility work; district staff member Mrs. Devore said taking on such expenses "would be very difficult and could lead to deficit spending." President Tribuzio asked staff to prepare a report on public organizations in Norridge and Harwood Heights that have held referendums in the last five years to inform whether a referendum could be an option.
