Board recognizes iReady growth leaders; principal and board emphasize data-driven targets

Norridge School District 80 recognized students identified as Winter iReady Math and Reading Growth Leaders from Leigh and Giles schools during the Jan. 20 meeting. Dr. Rabiola and Mrs. Gulo introduced the students, who received certificates and shared their goals and final scores with the Board before posing for a photo with members of the board.
Board members praised the assessment results as evidence of student progress while also noting opportunities for continued improvement. "I like that it is data-driven and without these measurements, we don’t have a clear target to aim for," President Tribuzio said during the presentation, framing the scores as part of an ongoing effort to set measurable instructional goals.
