District Preschool Earns ISBE 'Gold' Rating, SPED Committee to Meet

Mr. Masters reported that the district’s preschool program received a Gold Rating through the Illinois State Board of Education Accelerate program, calling it the highest recognition available through that program.
The special-education committee will convene Sept. 30 to discuss events and approaches to sustain and expand services. "It's the highest recognition they can give. Bravo to our preschool team!" Mr. Masters said. The board expressed congratulations and noted ongoing work to ensure consistency across SPED programming.
