The Norridge School District 80 Board approved several personnel actions at the Aug. 12 meeting, including reassignments, new employment contracts, and accepted resignations.
Approved reassignments included Kristen Quitno from Giles School 5th/6th Grade Spanish Teacher to Leigh School Preschool Teacher. New employment approvals included Kurt Preble as Leigh School assistant principal and multiple teaching and support contracts (Madeline Campbell; Duc Do; Donna Ferraro; Lindsey Kobus; Itzel Martinez; Elizabeth Mendoza; Aurelio Acevedo; Demetra Efstathiou; Tiffany Pagani). The board also approved contracts for Dr. Alexandra Perry (district occupational therapist) and Gina Cannella (school certified nurse for student evaluations).
The board accepted resignations from Sara Devito and Jessica Ryan (both listed as special education teachers) and accepted Kristen Quitno’s resignation as the Battle of the Books coach. All personnel items (19A–19C) were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
