At the Aug. 20 meeting the Buildings and Grounds Committee updated the board on a Facilities Assessment conducted by Wold Architects & Engineers and noted potential cost savings through a ComEd rebate program.
BM Schwartz emphasized the assessment's findings and savings opportunities, and Allison Andrews from Wold provided additional insight on the reports and work being done at each building. Superintendent Dr. Lind reminded the board of ongoing work related to the district's Life Safety Plan. The minutes say final approval of a Long-Term Facilities Plan will be presented at a future Board of Education meeting.
