Nippersink board approves consent agenda, records $1.29M in July board bills

The Nippersink School District 2 Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the Aug. 20 regular meeting, recording board bills of $1,290,833.58 for July and $313,422.22 for August and payroll reports showing $601,336.73 for June and $535,731.39 for July.
The consent agenda also included a personnel report listing new hires and changes of employment: C. Kiesgan (Recess Supervisor, RGS), J. Bannon and K. Kolkebeck (paraprofessionals at SGE), C. Zager (library clerk, RGS), G. Douglas (10-month secretary, RGS), K. Keefe (paraprofessional to special education teacher, NMS), and C. Piggot (maintenance to shared service buildings & grounds assistant). The minutes also note the retirement of J. Zaremba, library teacher, effective 2028''9.
Motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Board member Johnson and seconded by Mailfald. Roll call recorded ayes from Johnson, Mailfald, Shufelt, Casey, Schwartz, Stansbury and Quinn; nays: none. Motion carried 7'0.
The approved consent materials—minutes, financial reports and personnel changes—were accepted without further amendment and will be reflected in the district's administrative records.
