During the Superintendent's Report the board recorded that Head Start enrollment across the program is 233 students. Staff reported 375 at-home learning activities were sent home and returned, covering literacy, math, social-emotional learning, STEM and nutrition; family engagement included making bookmarks and a library trip.
The minutes also record that District 80 and Cedarhurst partnered for Black History Month events with kickoff programs Feb. 3–4 and a main celebration scheduled for Feb. 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the new gym at Casey Middle School.
