Superintendent Ryan Swan recommended that the district continue and expand speech services through a contract with LINKUP (LinkUp Teletherapy) to address increasing numbers of students identified for speech therapy.
The board approved the contract by motion of Sierra Daniels, seconded by Brian Blok; the roll call vote was unanimous. The minutes note LinkUp will provide virtual speech therapy in addition to in-person services to meet student needs.
No dollar amount for the contract was recorded in the minutes; the administration presented the contract for board approval as an operational measure to ensure service availability at the start of the school year.
