Superintendent Ryan Swan reminded the board the district's energy contract expired in May and that the district solicited bids in June which were rejected. After discussion Swan recommended going back out for bids. "Motion by Blok, seconded by Daniels to go out for new energy bids, as presented." The roll call was unanimous among members present (Ayes: Blok, Daniels, Flanigan, Nunnery, Jackson; Absent: Brandon, Edwards).
Board direction authorizes administration to re-solicit competitive proposals for energy supply; the motion did not specify contract length or vendor and those details remain to be determined during the bidding process.
