District signs closing documents transferring Oakland Education Center to ROE 13

Superintendent Ryan Swan updated the board that District 80 and ROE 13 signed closing documents earlier July 10 transferring ownership of 1722 Oakland Avenue, known as the Oakland Education Center, to ROE 13 with immediate effect. The minutes state, "ROE 13 will take ownership effective immediately." The board recorded the change for district records.
Board members did not take additional action at the meeting beyond acknowledging the transaction. Superintendent Swan presented the closing notice as an informational item under Old Business and advised the board he would provide further updates if necessary.
