Superintendent Ryan Swan told the board that the district did not receive Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program funding for 2024–25 but has been notified that Dr. Nick Osborne Primary Center will receive $28,200 and J.L. Buford will receive $13,050 for 2025–26. The minutes attribute the funding notification to Food Service Director Sarah Kluck, who communicated the award amounts to the district.
Board members heard the allocation amounts and did not take separate action at the July 10 meeting. The funding is site-specific and limited to the named schools for the 2025–26 school year.
