Board approves FMLA request, accepts retirements and confirms spring coaches

The board also accepted the retirement notice of teacher Theresa Busard effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year and accepted the retirement notice of 2nd shift custodian Lucille Knuth effective May 29, 2026. In addition, the board approved spring athletic bids not to exceed $30,000 and confirmed spring coaching appointments and volunteers—subject to required and approved background checks and paperwork—including Assistant Baseball coach Aaron Eddy and volunteers Todd Doyle, Chad Hochstatter, Steve Freeman, Adam Holdenrid, Ryan Reeder (track) and Steve Freeman (softball).
The actions were taken with standard roll-call votes and were recorded in the meeting minutes for implementation by human resources and athletics staff.
