If these numbers are obtained, the simple payback period for the project will be 2.6 years." The project includes advanced scheduling integration software, changes to air handler units, weatherization, and training and support. The board approved the expenditure and directed staff to begin implementation as soon as possible.
Board members recorded a unanimous vote among present members to proceed. The projected savings and utility incentive will be tracked against actual results and reported back as part of operational budgeting.
