District audit shows 'clean' result; business office staffing flagged

He also flagged a recurring annual finding: "the district’s business office does not employ enough staff to prevent the recurring annual staff finding." Rumboldt noted declines in state personal property tax receipts (about $208,000 year-over-year) and fewer state transportation payments compared with 2024. He reported average daily attendance has improved to 435 and that assessed value increased to $322,963,486 while the tax rate decreased to $1.9995.
Board members did not propose immediate policy changes during the presentation; the audit will be part of the district's fiscal record and used in upcoming budget planning.
