The Lockport School District 91 Board of Education convened a special meeting on Feb. 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kelvin Grove LRC. Board President Laura Garrett presided. After roll call listed seven members as present, the board noted an invitation for public comment under District Policy 2:230; no members of the public accepted the invitation and no emailed comments were received.
The board announced it would consider a closed-session matter under the Illinois Open Meetings Act, citing 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) — personnel matters involving appointment, employment, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees or legal counsel.
