Recorded personnel changes included the resignation of Justin Whitten, business manager (Resigned Dec. 12, 2025; effective Jan. 2, 2026), resignation of Ryleigh Smith, Special Resources Teacher (Resigned Dec. 19, 2025; effective Dec. 19, 2025) and an effective date for Assistant Principal Morgan Burrell at Jesse White Learning Academy of Jan. 21, 2026. The motion carried with AYEs from Webb, Armstrong, Richardson, Barnett and Chalmers.
Separately, the board approved Action Item 26-01 granting a superintendent bonus for improved student proficiency in FY2025 and Action Item 26-04 authorizing the termination of a certified employee. Both motions carried on recorded roll calls with the five members present voting AYE. Specific personnel files and deliberations on the termination were discussed in closed session and are not part of the open minutes.
