The Rantoul City Schools #137 Board approved revised board protocols and Board‑Superintendent expectations at the Oct. 16 meeting. Board members reviewed the documents in closed session with the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) at the September meeting and were asked to adopt the operational documents at this meeting.
John Brotherton moved to approve the protocols and expectations and Debbra Sweat seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous vote among those present (6‑0, 1 absent). Board discussion prior to the vote was procedural and did not result in amendments to the documents presented for approval.
