The board approved renewal of PCHS workers' compensation coverage with Accident Insurance and package policies with Utica National beginning Dec. 1, 2025, at an estimated cost of $423,958. The motion was made by Stephen Huey, seconded by Clarice Chick and carried with four voting members present.
Superintendent Dr. Danielle Owens introduced the school's security team — Jill Stecken, Jared Dowell and Kevin Dobbelaire — and recognized their work, noting that they are frequently "the first to arrive and the last to leave events held on campus." The recognition preceded routine business and underscored the administration's emphasis on campus safety.
