Board holds public hearing on FY2026 budget; no public comments recorded

The Palos Heights School District 128 Board convened a public hearing on the 2025–2026 budget Sept. 17 after a motion from Board President Dr. Facko and a second from Mrs. Lachowicz; the hearing notice had been published Aug. 31 in the Southtown. Chief School Business Officer Mrs. Anoman reviewed the budget during the hearing and the board recorded no additional board or public comments.
The hearing was held in compliance with Illinois law as noted on the record. Board members used the hearing to receive the budget presentation before resuming regular meeting business and later adopting the FY2026 budget by roll-call vote.
