Board to consider amended 2026–27 school calendar setting end date of June 3, 2027

Executive Director for Personnel Services Rachel Filippi presented a recommended amendment to the 2026–27 school-year calendar after district review found the previously approved calendar exceeded allowable student attendance days and staff workdays.
Filippi said the revised calendar preserves required instructional time while establishing a new school-end date of June 3, 2027, and that the Board will be asked to approve the change at its Feb. 17, 2026 meeting. Once approved, the district will post the revised calendar and notify staff and families.
