Wold Architects presents facility assessment; Leigh costs higher due to ADA and courtyard

"The difference is due to the ADA compliance requirements and the large courtyard at Leigh, which significantly increase costs," Eichhorn told the board during the presentation. The presentation and the facility-assessment materials are available on the district website, the minutes say.
Board members asked follow-up questions about particular ceilings and project scopes (the minutes note discussion about a ceiling in the 5th/6th-grade hallway at Giles) and raised funding questions. The Board requested an update on project funding and the hallway-pass pilot at a future (April) board meeting.
