The committee discussed the trade-offs between lower-cost resurfacing and longer-lived, higher-cost replacements and asked staff to explore an Amendment #8 with Opterra for a larger capital package and to solicit an additional testimonial from a comparable school. The meeting record shows the committee concluded project totals could range "from low of just under a million to only repair the cracks on the courts and turf/track to just under $3 million with the floating concrete tennis court," and directed staff to return with further cost comparisons and vendor references.
