River Trails Board adopts $29.3 million FY25 tax levy

The River Trails School District 26 Board of Education voted unanimously on Dec. 9 to adopt the 2025 tax levy in the total aggregate amount of $29,317,400.
Assistant Superintendent for Business Services Ryan Berry presented the levy during a public hearing opened at 7:01 p.m.; following a community comment from Kate Poretta, the board approved the levy on a motion by Board President William Grimpe, seconded by Janine Freedlund. The board instructed the president and secretary to sign the resolutions and certificates for submission to the Cook County Clerk. The motion carried with all members recorded as AYE and none recorded as NAY.
