Board approves intergovernmental agreement to extend employee health coverage options

Rantoul City Schools approved continuing participation in the Illinois Educators Risk Management Program (IERMP) framework that allows employees whose spouses also work for IERMP districts to pool board-paid contributions to obtain family coverage. The intergovernmental agreement with Prairieview-Ogden District #197 enables the district to extend the benefit to employees whose spouses are employed by another IERMP district when both districts agree; administration noted there is no additional cost to the district.
